Detergent
When cleaning day comes around, I can just grab the pump out of its little storage compartment on top of the unit, fill it up with water, turn on the faucet, and start using it right away! I know you’re looking for some serious help dealing with those pesky bathroom odors
Well, I’ve got good news – you won’t need to get rid of your bathroom fixtures
At least not if you don’t want to
In fact, I’m going to show how they can be fixed or even removed so you can enjoy a bathroom free from odor
We’ll go over everything, including the best way to get rid of mildew and the fastest ways to clean bathtubs, showers, sinks, and toilets
To get started, I’m gonna use AquaBlast
Now let me tell you how much I love this stuff
In less than five minutes, I can scan myself and all my toilet bowls and shower walls so I can avoid buying expensive store-brand OTC products
Then I can quickly eliminate 99% of the bacteria, fungus, mildew, and slime-causing organisms
So let’s hop to it! First off, we’ll start in our bathrooms
It’s honestly easier to work here because I can use the sink to wash my hands and feet instead of standing in front of the toilet
But before we begin, take note of where the vent is located and make sure you don’t block it while doing your maintenance
Next, open your windows and door and allow ventilation once you’ve scanned your house
You now need to shut off the water valve for your tub or shower in order to prevent flooding

To remove mildew, simply spray your entire tub or shower with a gallon of distilled white vinegar
Make sure you scrub down surfaces below the tub or shower base, then rinse thoroughly with clear water
Most people use bleach for disinfecting their tubs and showers because it works well and doesn’t leave behind harmful chemicals
If you’d prefer, you can mix 1 cup of bleach with 2 gallons of water for effective results
Now that your tub or shower is cleaned, it’s time to tackle your toilets
Use about half a cup of Drano or household ammonia mixed with a gallon of warm water
If your toilet bowl doesn’t drain properly, it might be clogged
Try flushing it two or three times before calling a plumber
Once your toilet is cleared, you’re ready to finish up the bathroom
First, add 1/2 cup of baking soda to the toilet tank cover reservoir
Once that mixture hardens, pour it down the tramway
Once done, flush the toilet to fully activate it

liquid detergent refill pack

A liquid detergent pack contains only 1 to 5% soap or surfactants in water compared to regular liquid laundry detergent at 20-35%
These refill packs are excellent replacements for hand washing in small situations
To replace your old detergent, just add a few drops to 1 gallon of warm water (not hot)
Soap is extremely helpful in removing dirt and oils from clothing and fabrics
If you do not have access to natural soap, you may use a commercial laundry detergent instead
To avoid staining fabric, try adding a drop of bleach or hydrogen peroxide before washing
This detergent can be diluted even further to make homemade dishwashing liquid
Simply mix 2 ounces of liquid soap with 8 ounces of warm water and pour into a spray bottle
Keep in mind that many foods require a bit of cooking
You can also use this mixture for cleaning your kitchen sink and counters
If you prefer to wash in cold water, simply add enough soap to make the solution slightly cloudy
The cold water helps prevent bacteria buildup, which makes clothes last longer
Many people find this detergent more effective than traditional laundry soap in cleaning dishes, pots and pans, cutting boards, and tableware
Because soap dissolves grease, this homemade detergent can help remove stubborn stains from plastic containers and food packaging

The Refill Station

The refill station is a simple design that can easily fit into any home or office for any kind of detergent, such as hammer liquid detergent one
It consists of two parts: 1
) A pump and 2
) a filter
The pump moves water through the system to wash down your dishes and clean the sink
You simply fill the tank with tap water, attach the hose end and plug the pump into a wall outlet
When it’s time to rinse off the dishes, just turn the faucet on until the water runs clear
When finished, turn the tap back on for normal drinking water pressure
And if you’re concerned about chemicals leaching into your water supply, you can always use distilled water instead

How the System Works

When I first came up with the idea for the Refill Station, I was inspired by a similar product called the Dishwasher Replacement Station by Home Depot
To understand how the system works, we need to look at how a dishwasher works
In a typical dishwasher, water flows in from above and is pulled out from below by gravity
The water then passes through a series of rotating racks where dirty dishes and flatware get washed
After being cleaned, the water goes down tubes into the sump, where it eventually drains away
That’s pretty much what happens with my Refill Station
You will notice that the Refill Station uses the same general principle of operation
However, there are some significant differences
First, the Refill Station doesn’t have spinning racks
Instead, each unit compartment has its separate filter connected directly to the side of the reservoir

Each filter does not spin
Second, the filtration aspect of the system works differently than a typical dishwasher
Rather than using granulated activated carbon filters, the Refill Station uses micro-fiber pads
These pads consist of thousands of tiny fibers held together by glue and are designed to catch soap scum and other small particles while allowing water to pass right through them and into the reservoir
Because these pads don’t require frequent replacement, they last longer and save money over traditional carbon filters
Finally, the way that water enters the machine is different too
While the Dishwasher Replacement Station relies on gravity and rotation to move the water through the device, the Refill Station only requires a single tube to push water through the whole system
This makes cleaning easier and cuts down on potential leaks that could occur due to clogged or damaged pipes

What the Filters Catch

Before I go into detail about how the system catches debris, let me explain briefly what happens to your water once it passes through the filters during regular washing cycles
My Refill Station contains four filters in total
Two of them are located inside the reservoir, and two are outside the pool
All of the filters are constructed of micro-fibers and work like a sponge to soak up dirt and grime
When the water enters the pool, the first filter catches loose,

If it doesn’t do the job, try a different brand or type of detergent and detergent powder
– Most of these liquid detergents will leave a residue if left on wood or metal surfaces for a long time
Use caution and rinse thoroughly after application to avoid leaving behind stains or residues on non-porous surfaces
